The Valda Hope Foundation hosts a charity auction named “Hands for Hope” in an effort to raise funds to support its mission. Thus far, the Foundation has hosted 4 auctions, the inaugural staging in 2018, 2019 and after a 3 year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its return in 2023 and another in 2024. Hands for Hope is a silent auction with items ranging from dinners for two and artwork to dental visits and weekends for two at hotels. The night features a disc jockey, live music, food, drinks, spot and gate prizes. #CharityAndChill
The flagship fundraiser afforded us, most recently, the ability to donate over $1.5 million JMD to 10 exceptional students in August 2024.
